Mobile App Development

For teams shipping to iOS and Android from one codebase

Cross-platform mobile apps in React Native, built for real-world use — offline states, flaky connectivity, and app-store review, not just the happy path in a demo.

Mobile apps fail in different ways than web apps — a lost connection mid-session, a backgrounded app losing state, an app-store reviewer rejecting a build over a permissions string. I build in React Native with those realities in mind from day one, rather than treating them as bugs to patch after launch.

What's Included

Cross-platform iOS/Android builds

Native integrations (payments, push, camera, etc.)

Offline-first and real-time features

App Store / Play Store submission support

Is This a Fit?

Good Fit

  • You need one codebase targeting both iOS and Android
  • Your app depends on real-time data, notifications, or offline use
  • You're launching to app stores for the first time and need submission support

Not a Fit

  • You specifically need fully native (Swift/Kotlin) development
  • You're building a simple content app better suited to a no-code tool

Engagement Options

Fixed-Scope Project

Defined deliverable, defined timeline

We agree on scope, timeline, and cost upfront based on a discovery call. Best when you already know what you need built.

Good for: MVPs, new features, defined migrations

Ongoing Contract

Continuous development capacity

I work as an extension of your team on a recurring basis — new features, fixes, and iteration as priorities shift.

Good for: products already live, growing roadmaps

Retainer

Recurring technical capacity

A recurring block of time for ongoing development, technical improvements, or SEO work — without re-scoping a new project every time something comes up.

Good for: products already live, ongoing SEO work, growing roadmaps

Common Questions

React Native vs. fully native — how do you decide?

For the vast majority of business apps, React Native gets you to both platforms faster without a meaningful UX penalty. I'd recommend fully native only for apps that lean heavily on device-specific capabilities React Native doesn't cover well — that's a conversation worth having on the discovery call.

Do you handle App Store and Play Store submission?

Yes — provisioning, store listings, and the back-and-forth with app review are part of the engagement, not a separate line item you have to figure out yourself.

Think This Is the Right Fit?

Book a discovery call and we'll figure out the scope, timeline, and engagement model together.
