Services
Whether you're a startup scaling past your MVP or an established business digitizing manual operations, I take on a limited number of engagements at a time so each one gets real attention — not a queue of tickets split across ten clients.
What I Do
Six ways to work together, depending on where your product is and what you actually need. Click any service for the full breakdown.
How Engagements Work
No published rate card — scope, timeline, and rates get set after a discovery call, once I actually understand the problem. Here are the three shapes an engagement usually takes.
Fixed-Scope Project
Defined deliverable, defined timeline
We agree on scope, timeline, and cost upfront based on a discovery call. Best when you already know what you need built.
Good for: MVPs, new features, defined migrations
Ongoing Contract
Continuous development capacity
I work as an extension of your team on a recurring basis — new features, fixes, and iteration as priorities shift.
Good for: products already live, growing roadmaps
Retainer
Recurring technical capacity
A recurring block of time for ongoing development, technical improvements, or SEO work — without re-scoping a new project every time something comes up.
Good for: products already live, ongoing SEO work, growing roadmaps
How a Project Typically Starts
Discovery Call
A short call to understand the problem, current state, and what success looks like.
Scope & Proposal
A written scope, timeline, and engagement model tailored to what you actually need.
Build
Regular updates and demos as work progresses — no surprises at the end.
Launch & Beyond
Deployment support, and an honest conversation about what ongoing support looks like.
Questions About Working Together
How is pricing determined?
It depends on scope, timeline, and engagement model — fixed-scope projects are quoted after discovery, ongoing contracts and retainer work are billed on a recurring basis. I don't publish a flat rate card because a landing page and a fintech backend aren't priced the same way.
Can I start with one engagement model and switch to another?
Yes — a lot of relationships start as a fixed-scope project and move into an ongoing contract or retainer once there's an established working relationship and a longer-term roadmap.
What's not included in a typical engagement?
Hosting, third-party service costs (e.g. payment processors, SMS providers), and design work beyond implementing agreed layouts are usually handled separately unless we scope them in upfront.
Do you work with a team, or just me?
Just me. That's a deliberate choice — it means direct communication with the person actually writing the code, and it's why I keep the number of concurrent engagements limited.
How quickly can we start?
After the discovery call and a signed scope, most projects kick off within 1-2 weeks, depending on current engagements. If there's urgency, mention it on the call.
Have a Project in Mind?
Tell me what you're trying to build or fix, and I'll tell you honestly whether I'm the right fit for it.
